Am I the only one who hears an exceedingly loud hiss on T's Monk starting just before 5" and lasting about 45 seconds? It is followed by a long silence which could be intentional or could be related to the noise.
This ruins the otherwise great music, for which, many thanks!
@ anon I doubt you're the only one to hear that — since it's on the original too. So the answer is: either I've ripped a dodgy album; or it's the way it was recorded and intended. I suspect the latter, though I don't have another version to compare it against.
